Don't Let TIME Stop You!

Do you ever feel like you don't have enough time in the day to create the life you really want? I mean, do you feel like the task of getting and keeping your life on track will take too much work and effort, so why bother?

First, I want to say I GET IT! I mean, there is SO MUCH personal growth help out there it is a bit overwhelming at times. Where to start and what to do is on everyone's mind these days.

Not only that, we have busy lives! Kids, husbands, wives, friends, committees, jobs, holidays, pets, parents, traveling, cleaning, chores, work-outs, school, getting the evening meal on the table!

Well, I've got great news for you. You don't need to spend tons of time on improving your life. You just need to spend a little time, each and every day. Small steps, taken consistently, result in change. Below are three of my favorite things you can do immediately to start improving your life. Seriously, all three are so simple you might want to do them all! But don't feel like you have to. You'll get some good bang for your buck if you do any of the following.

Start each day acknowledging your blessings. It's a fact: you get what you focus on most. If you're someone who tends to get trapped thinking about your problems start focusing on all that is GOOD in your life. It might take some practice but if you give it a few days soon you'll notice more and more to be happy about. This easy to do practice will do wonders!

Become a learner! Read, listen to tapes, attend a class every so often, read this e-zine on a regular basis. All of these things, done consistently, will make a positive difference in your life.

Pick a theme. Such as, perhaps you want to boost your confidence. Your theme then becomes CONFIDENCE. You can act "as if" you are confident (faking it until you make it), read books on boosting your confidence, attend classes, etc. By picking one theme you're not overwhelming yourself. When you feel like you are ready to move on pick another theme. Overtime you will substantially improve the quality of your life - keeping it simple every step of the way!

Here's the thing: improving your life doesn't have to take a TON of TIME (like in several hours a day). Doing a few right things each day will bring you great rewards!
