Enlightening Questions for Figuring Out What Needs to Change You wake up and its a beautiful, sunny day. However, instead of feeling happy to start your day you rollover, hit the snooze button and go back to sleep at least until the alarm goes off again. When you finally get up you feel sluggish and very unexcited about your day. You take a shower, get dressed and leave the house feeling stressed out. You wish you could crawl back into bed and hide from the world. You know something needs to change. If only you knew what that something was. Does the above scenario hit home? Have you had a time in your life when you felt miles away from living your best life? And even though you knew something in your life needed to change, knowing exactly what needed to change felt as far away as your best life did? The first clue something in our life is off comes from our emotions. How we feel about our life is the best measurement we have as to whether our life is working, or not working. Our emotions are like an onboard navigation system, constantly informing us of whether we are on the right track, or not. If something in your life feels off, how can you figure out what needs to change so you can get your life back on track faster? The following 10 questions will help you gain the clarity you need to do just that. 1. What feels
great in my life today? Whats working well? 6. What really
ticks me off about my life right now? Your answers to the first 5 questions reflect what you want MORE OF in your life and what you should KEEP doing. Your answers to these 5 questions reflect what makes you happy. Your answers to the last 5 questions reflect what makes you unhappy. These are the things you should STOP doing, or at least do LESS OF in your life. The bottom line: doing MORE OF what you love and LESS OF what you dont love is a good start to getting your life back on track. Once you clearly know what isnt working, make a plan to do less and less of it over time. Stick to that plan but give it very little of your focus. On the other hand, put most of your focus on doing more of what makes you happy. In time, your life will rebalance and youll wake up feeling happy to start your day! ©2007 Cari Vollmer / LifeOnTrack(tm) / LifeOnTrack.com Note: Would you like to "reprint" this article?
