Hi there!

Next week my husband Pete and I jump on a plane to attend my first in person Mastermind meeting in gorgeous and warm Miami, FL. (And yes, that will be our view!) I'm so thrilled Pete gets to go with me. In all the years we've been self-employed we've had limited access into each other's worlds. Next week Pete is going to get an up close experience of MY world...and I know he's going to love it! Without a doubt our week will be filled with possibility, support, love, and friendship. We're going to have a blast!

The year is coming to a close fast, isn't it? I really can't believe how fast this year has gone! It seems like I just introduced my brand new Passion into Profit Blueprint (tm) program and just attended events in New York and Miami, as well as hosting a group of my own private clients here in Minneapolis. All of those things happened months ago! Now I'm busy wrapping up the year with a new website launch and a few other big announcements, one of which I'll tell you about right now...

How are you? I know, I know, busy...the holidays are right around the corner and the economy is well...the economy. But seriously, I don't care about those things; I want to know about YOU. Well, we have our first basketball tournament this weekend so we'll certainly be busy. We're excited to see Kasie and her team play; they've been practicing for weeks and I know they're ready for some serious competition! I'll be sure to fill you in on all my new insights when I return.

The Five Gifts of Bad Times

They may be hard to see but if you're willing to look you'll see that even in bad times gifts abound!

Here they are in short form:

1. Gift of Choice: You have a choice, even in bad times...which road are you going to take? Your response to bad times is always YOUR choice. Will you see what's wrong or what could be very right?

2. Gift of Starting Over: You get a chance to go back to square one and ask yourself again, "What do I really want?" And then you give yourself another chance to go for it!

3. Gift of Perspective: You get the opportunity to see where you have given away your power, either to a person, idea, and/or belief. Who or what hasn't been serving your HIGHEST good? You also get a chance to remind yourself of what really matters. Has your attention been on things that in the end really don't matter much?

4. Gift of Faith: Has the pressure made you forget to have faith in your creator (God, Universe, etc.) and that whatever happens is always for your highest good? What might the Universe be trying to tell you?

5. Gift of Power: perhaps the greatest gift you get from making it through rough times is the gift of knowing your own power, courage and strength. After all, if it weren't for "bad times" you would never know all the good stuff you're made from! And that's a gift!
