The last week has been busy in my house and it has everything to do with a fluffy white, seriously adorable, new addition to our family. Choxie, our new 8 week old puppy has arrived! To say life has taken on a different vibe around here would be an understatement. Right now she requires LOTS of attention and I suspect that will continue to be the case for quite awhile. Thankfully my daughter is still home on summer break and has made it her role to watch, care for and train our spunky new family member. All is going extremely well and we're having a ton of fun! Above is a picture of Kasie and Choxie... a match made in heaven.

I was recently cleaning off my bookshelf and opened up a page in the Simple Abundance Companion Journal. Leafing through this book a headline caught my eye, "The Joy of Getting What You Want Instead of Having it All".
I love that. I love it because the heart of this statement is at the heart of the LifeOnTrack.com philosophy: creating the life you most want requires you to make powerful decisions. Powerful decisions (choices) are decisions you make that fill you with joy, stretch your comfort zone in the best possible way, engage your body, mind and spirit, allow you to use your gifts, and make you excited to jump out of bed in the morning.

Powerful decisions are not necessarily easy decisions and that's why they have the power to change your life. Powerful decisions come from your authentic self...the whole of you that knows who you really are.

Today, what are three powerful decisions you can make that would put your life on a trajectory that feels good, from the inside out? What do you really want to do that you haven't yet done? I have a feeling, if you sit with that question long enough, you'll know the answers.

Give yourself permission to hear the answers. Hearing them doesn't mean you have to take action on them...yet. Sometimes the act of admitting you want something is the first step in making it so. It can also be one of the hardest and biggest steps you take!

Go ahead, admit what you really want. Dig deep and allow the answers to surface. Let your true self have a voice and then notice how good it feels to unleash the power that is you.

On another note, Minneapolis experienced a horrific tragedy yesterday when a major bridge collapsed into the Mississippi River. Everyone in my life is safe and I hope that is the case for all of my Twin City subscribers or any of you that may have been visiting. This one hit close to home. My thoughts and prayers are with anyone who has been affected personally by this tragedy.
