This week's Passion into Profit article...

I was inspired to write this week's brand new article/book review after reading James Ray's new book, Harmonic Wealth. In it James asks a question that has kept me THINKING FOR DAYS! In fact, it inspired me so much I typed it out on a big piece of paper and hung it in my office. Read the article for the question and more info.

Today is a full client day for me. So, I'm off to the first of many appointments, and then a car wash, oil change and maybe even a quick walk around one of Minneapolis' many lakes.

Book Review

Harmonic Wealth, by James Arthur Ray

In James Ray's new book, Harmonic Wealth, he teaches us how it's better to go for creating harmony (a state of flow) in your life, over balance. Balance, after all, is static and nothing is happening. If you want to live a fully engaged life you are better offer looking for ways to create harmony in your life. I agree.

In his book James asks a question that has kept me thinking for days! In fact, it made such an impact I typed it out on a big piece of paper and now it's hanging in my office. The question:

Are the actions you're taking CONFIRMING the life you want to create?

James talks about how so many of us take action to achieve results. Therefore, the action becomes more about the result, then the action.

However, this can backfire and often does. If we live our life only for results our happiness and peace of mind hinges on whether or not we're getting the results we want.

But, by honoring the journey you actually give yourself more power to take actions that will allow the life and business you most want to unfold naturally.

We make decisions all day long. Are the decisions you're making confirming the dream you have for your life? In other words, do your actions symbolize faith and trust that your dreams are going to come true? Or, do you retreat, hold back and do the same old, same old? If you do, you're not creating anything new...only more of the same.

Pay attention. Next time you take an action - any action - ask yourself if the action you're taking is confirming the life you want. If it is, you're sending a powerful message to the universe that you are waiting in joyful expectation of its arrival. After all, if that wasn't the case you wouldn't have taken the action, right?

Is your head spinning yet? Mine did too for a few days but then I started "getting it". What you desire is already yours. By confirming your desires with appropriate actions you draw your desires closer and closer to you. It's a universe thing. Each action acts as a powerful magnet, pulling toward you what you want. If you also infuse your actions with joy, belief, trust, optimism and other good feeling feelings you become a very powerful magnet.

That's why it's important to KEEP taking actions that confirm your dreams. Dreams take time. Period. Just because you don't get what you want the second you ask for it doesn't mean it's not coming. And it doesn't mean you're not worthy or deserving either. Your dreams are coming in their own perfect timing and more than likely in the perfect timing for you to fully receive that which you want. Your dreams are yours for the asking. Don't slow the process by retreating or by reverting back to your old actions. Stay the course.

Virginia, are the actions you're taking CONFIRMING the life you want to create? Hang THAT question on your wall.
