Hi there,
I can tell it's time for me to BE when I try and try
and try to DO only to have my feeble attempts lead me
nowhere. Years ago times like this would
frustrate the heck out of me! I would judge the
situation as good or bad. I would judge myself for not
being able to DO more. I would certainly feel "broken"
because if I were "whole" I'd be able to do all that my
busy mind wanted me to do.
Yesterday I talked to a good friend about how I
was feeling. I explained to her I was feeling a lot
of space around me and it was starting to make me
feel a bit uncomfortable. I wanted to escape the space
but pictured a big rubber band holding me in place. I
was pushing against it so it was feeling very stretched
and I was feeling a lot of tension.
For some reason I decided to become really
curious about what the rubber band symbolized. Why
did I see my situation like that? After sitting with it
for a bit I got my answer. As I looked at the rubber
band holding me back I realized it was actually doing
something for me. The rubber band was
holding me in place for a reason.
 To relieve the tension I
was feeling I realized I
could cut the bands so in my mind's eye I got out a big
pair of scissors and cut them. In that moment I saw
what I needed to see...the moment was perfect as is.
In fact, the minute I cut loose and stopped
efforting (trying to figure things out) the rubber band
transformed into a green, peaceful meadow. From
that place I could hear what I was suppose to hear-
wait and be in this place for awhile longer. BEING
was what I was to DO.
If life is coming at you, or if your busy mind seems to
be running out of control, STOP. Step on the brake.
Take a breather. Feel your breath and your body and
listen to wisdom.
What, in this moment, are you really to do?
Getting and keeping your life and business on
track will require you to LISTEN closely to what your
spirit is guiding you to do. Sometimes
you'll be guided to take action, make leaps, do this
and do that. And other times it will instruct you to
pause, reflect, sleep, laugh, go on vacation, cry, hug,
say thank you, say you're sorry, be silent.
How will you answer spirit?

I'll be attending a workshop in Stamford, CT. I'll have
LOTS to tell the following week so I'll see you then,
with bells and whistles!
